Katherine Stinnett

My name is Katherine Stinnett and I gave my life to Christ when I was 16 years old. Around the same time, an admiration for theater blossomed out of a preexisting love for comedy and the two quickly fused together for the long haul. I went on to graduate from Harding University with an acting degree in 2018 and moved to New York City a year later! 

When I came to the city from the Midwest, I was totally convinced that I would have to walk as the “stand alone Christian” in and out of my comedy classes, acting classes, on set and in auditions.

In 2023, the Lord kindly showed me a community of believing artists at church and The Hang NYC which eventually led me to this Story of God family. This community of Believers are daily reminders of God’s steadfast love and faithfulness to His children. The faithful God of Abraham is the same faithful God of you and me and it is a blessing and an honor to tell His story.

“But as for me, I am like a green olive tree in the house of God; I trust in the loving kindness of God forever and ever. I will give You thanks forever, because You have done it, And I will wait on Your name, for it is good, in the presence of Your godly ones.”
